If I were talking about Americans, I would have said the same thing I said about Russians. We all need a bit more humanity and certainly less jabs about self-righteousness and Americanism.
However, you will note that I was not talking about Americans. I was talking about Russians.
BTW I am not an American and do not salute the flag of any country.

When an American makes a generalisation that Russia needs to be more humane, eluding to the fact its a problem with money and not the heart, I would say its an American being self righteous. I am American BTW.

Russia has one of the most highly educated population, that is not the issue.
Issue is that there is lack of family values in Russia, alchol is BIG problem. And usually when this happens(mom dies and kids are left with father that all he does is drink) it doesn't end well. This is really sad, and governament should rlly try to chance this.not just with offering shelters but reeducationg ppl about family values.

Hello we live in the 21 century thise things should not be happening. Especialy when russia needs more man to make it great and powerfull. Put more in education or some thing. This is really sad. those poor boys (:
