He had a valid point though. As the cloud becomes more involved with day to day use as a core function just as much as SD card storage is, opening those API's to developers for whatever reason can be useful. You don't even know for sure what kind of app he was doing, it could have been anything that needed to access and evaluate the users songbase which they dont know if it can be done for sure with the "cloud songs".

I've been an android user for two years now and am currently using the Nexus S. Lately I've started to feel like android is a big mess, the UI is so laggy on the nexus it is difficult to believe they let the product out in that state - the browser especially. Core android is improving on developer features, but vanilla android is actually quite bare. I think these manufacturer skins are for the time being quite necessary. Hopefully ICS will address these issues...

@TaylorTalksTech yes, it does suck hard. It's Motorola fault for releasing it too early while Honeycomb was in development. So XOOM sucks hard.

*Audio Latency going to be improved and enchanced on the next android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Good for my FL Studio App on my Tablet and my android smart phone. (Google is working on it)
*Android Promo Codes and Android gift cards for users to buy apps in the Android Market, is coming soon in the future (Google is working on it).
Well done, google, Google is steping up
