Not against UK/US/Can troops they didn't. Only when they went East. But I agree though, the German Army were fantastic in WW2 and pretty much every other time. Like the British it is like they were born for organised fighting.

It winds me up in movies like Saving Private Ryan when the just cut through Germans. Still, put Charles Upham and Paddy Maine in the same unit and a lot of Germans are going down. Fast.
