Okay, here's the deal: We were testing a video signal being sent from the 8th floor of a building in Orange, CA (20 miles from the quake's epicenter) to San Diego where the video was being recorded. I'm on the phone with Steve in San Diego during this test. As part of the test we muted my microphone and sent a "tone signal" to San Diego. This standard procedure has nothing to do with the cell phone - it just happened to coincide with the quake. It was a hell of a ride by the way...

thE TONE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PHONE IT ALL WE WERE HEARING WAS THE OUTPUT OF HIS WIRELESS MIC. ON HIS SHIRT. THE TONE OCCURED BECAUSE OF THE LEVELING THAT WAS ASKED TO BE DONR TO THE MICROPHONE THATS WHY AT THE END THE "REPORTER"(I AM GUESSING) SIGNALES TO LEVEL A SWITCH UP

Actually, in an emergency situation you do not hang up the "freaking phone", but make calls to loved ones, relatives, and people who you may have wronged in the past to heal old wounds. It is a time to repent as God could be angry with you and the apocalypse upon us: Matthew Chapter 8, verse 6.

In an emergency situation hang up your freaking cell phone. Emergency agencies need to use the line. If you dont you will hear a high pitched tone indicating that you have been disconnected. THanks for your cooperation
