You are watching the McClain Wing Cores 48" Starfire Beta #1 mid engine pusher wing on its second day of testing.

I was flying this plane on the beach in Corolla, NC - the outer banks. The winds were at 20+ kts and paralleling the dunes so slope flight was impossible but extreme turbulance was the name of the game - still the plane did very well for as light as it is (1 lb 5 oz) Running an AXI 2112-20 on a Rino 3s 2200 25C Lithium Polymer pack. APC 8X6 electric prop and a JR system for control.

This was flight 1 of 3 with no incidents, no crashes and a great time pushing the design to try to find some bad habits . . . just a great flier.

Please excuse my poor landing . . just because you fly often doesnt mean you cant have a few tooth crunchers!
