@SuperSkepticman - I believe that Roman authorship is the most logical explanation for Christianity. The gospels being satire on the Roman-Jewish wars and Paul being based on Josephus. I don't believe Price agrees with Roman authorship.

The options for Paul, as far as I can see are, 1. Paul was created using Josephus (likely), 2. Paul and Josephus same person (unlikely), 3. Josephus was created using Paul (extremely unlikely).

I don't think Price even entertains the idea of Roman authorship.

Being in a church no more makes you a christian then being in a garage makes you a car.Sad to here you a cop because since you reject God the law giver you unable to truely understand right from wrong .For moral truth came from God .As for beliefs xian catholic church this is Not even christian .They teach good works saves a person this is opposite of what the bible teaches ...

There are zero discrepancies and contradictions only those who fail to read the whole text.It tells you who carried the cross Jesus did and roman soldier told a man in the crowd and force him to help.The gospel has many different point of sight accounts.If there a a few witness to a event there will be different account of the same event .Why because each person see the event from a different angle and eye sight .The police know a group is false, when they have all the same story.

@Franknarfable You accept those event even know they have less manuscript evidence to prove them.The bible has more manuscript evidence then any event in all of history ... Again you reject the bible manuscript evidence and secular evidence because you Hate God ... You love yourself and you love for sin more. You will not accept the love of God that offers you forgiveness from your crimes of sin .The free pardon offered by Jesus God ....

I accept Vespasian, Titus and Domitian existed, the Roman-Jewish wars happened, the Romans won and Jerusalem was destroyed. Romans won, Jews defeated. Romans all powerful, Jews defeated. Sinking in?

The Romans would chop the heads of statues replacing them with Caesars, but the Jews didn't have statues, they had literature.

@Franknarfable Hey ! you will accept Alexander without any writings but you reject the bible .The point is you only reject the bible because you HATE GOD .You do not care about the evidence of the bible.You hate God and therefore close yourself to the evidence You again accept other events in history as true .The manuscripts of the bible out weigh any other historical events .You will NOT see the truth because you have pride in yourself and seek to do whatever you want without facing God.

@danephillips - Alexander? Who cares. I am calling the New Testament fiction, because that is what I have read about. It NT does not offend me at all, it is one of the greatest book ever written.

This has nothing to do with "God" or pride. I am interesting in the authorship and evidences surrounding the New Testament. That's why I'm on this video.

@SuperSkepticman yes they are but they were not with Muhammad when he claimed to have an angel appear to him, otherwise they would have been able to make their own judgment, instead now they are taking his word for it. The disciples saw Jesus crucified, denied him, for fear of losing their own lives and then with nothing to gain, they begin preaching his resurrection, in the midst of persecution. As to Paul, he hated & killed believers and then became one. These things don't happen all the time

@SuperSkepticman I'm sorry to hear that. It's interesting that you are a police officer, I'm actually trying to become one myself. But back on topic, I have looked into the points people point to as contradictions, and have found reasonable answers to nearly all of them. People get caught in is hearing too much of one side. I have not read those books you mentioned, but other articles and such. Check out the Stephen Meyer TrueU series. I don't have all the answers but only that Jesus is Lord.
