You can torture someone into saying ANYTHING. Including that Torture can get people to admit lies hahahahaha
-
The only example ever given for the just use of torture is the whole 'but what if there was a bomb, and they know where it is' blah blah - that has NEVER happened! Its just doen't work like that. Its an unjust reason for a horrific action. Didn't we overturn Sadaam for torturing his people?
How can we ever claim to know whats best, and hold our heads high when we're guilty of the same attrocities?

"Values are fungible"? This moron clearly has no idea at all what "fungible" means. I don't mind people using big words, but this clown should get himself a dictionary so that at least he doesn't use them totally stupidly.

times of war or crisis should test your faith in your values.. if your values desert you in the worst events of your life then you never had values to begin with
You know what saves lives? Getting troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan. If we were so intent upon saving the lives of Americans we wouldn't be sending them into these fucking wars with such inadequate equipment and all.
It's not a fucking question about whether it works or not. I'm sure it could work. As could the unwarranted searches of the homes of ex-cons for no reason. The question is whether it's morally right or not.

To beat your enemy you don't sink to their level. You stand above them. Then crush them.
