LG Optimus 2x keeps rebooting

Guys,hang on. Don't jump on this phone. It has problems that can keep you all night awake for few days after you get this. Bought it for 26K in India. Since Day 1 it started restarting on its own. Some times its shuts off by itself. Battery drains so fast. Now, after fully charging, it keeps recharging. It is an awesome phone at this price but LG should have tested this phone more. They have released an untested phone in hurry to get into Guinness Book of World Records.

I returned mine for the.galaxy s which is much better... no more problems and actually a much better phone and came with sd card.and quality headphones.. a few less features but totally, worth it..

Volume down and power button together. Gets it working again, though it completely resets it as well. Gotta love technology....

Do you still have froyo 2.2 on your phone? Update to Gingerbread or flash a good and stable custom rom like modaco or miui which i prefer ;)

25k? i bought this phone (In norway) for 5K i get the same error, but it does not load it comes to the last boot (When the pink stuff flashing with the LG logo) and im going to bring it back today to fix it or get a new one.. That's hard :/

this happened to me last night, I did a hard reboot by pressing the Vol. down button and turn it on. That wiped everything out, but at least my phone is working well again
