- February 2007 Rangers vs. Devils, Avery knocks Marty Brodeur down after the whistle is blown.

- 2007-2008 playoffs Game 3 vs Devils, Sean Avery screens Brodeur face-to-face using his stick, Avery ends up scoring. Upon review, NHL amends previous rules, giving refs the option to hand out a unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for such actions. It's become known as the "Avery Rule"

What's the point of the "music"? You sound as if you know what you're talking about, you are unbiased, This would be a really good video essay, but the so-called music makes this just like every other Youtube video made by teenagers.

when avery had his appendix removed none of his NYR team mates came to visit him in the hospital says alot about the guy. also this guy should an update on avery and how hes been waived twice this year and wont play any games for a while in the AHL cuz he spat on his head coach. the nhl is a gentlemans league send the guy to echl to waste the rest of his shitty hockey life and to anyone who likes the way avery plays/acts you are just as big of shit as he is

Nobody likes sean avery. His teammates dont like avery. His coaches dont like him. Its just surprising the rangers win with him. I cant wait for the day someone just absolutely WRECKS him. I dont care if its a dirty hit, any hit on avery is clean in my book.
