I Need To Be In Love - The Carpenters (Cover)

You know when you find a song where you can completely relate to every single one of the lyrics... Yeah. This one has that effect on me. Particularly the "I know I ask perfection of a quite imperfect world, and fool enough to think that's what I'll find" bit... So here's a moment of self-indulgence on my part!

Anyway -- I was inspired to sing this after watching the BBC4 documentary on The Carpenters which was on last night... I love their music and what happened to Karen was such an absolute tragedy. So I wanted to sing one of their songs to celebrate and remember one of the best musical duos to have ever existed, seriously, Karen Carpenter's voice was like liquid gold... If you haven't heard the original to this then I highly suggest you do, my voice doesn't hold a candle to hers!
