Bill Daniels was a pioneer in cable television known for his kindness and generosity to those in need. He grew up during the Great Depression and was a decorated fighter pilot in World War II before he helped establish the cable television industry in the United States. He loved sports and helped launch Prime Ticket and was part-owner of the L.A. Lakers with Jerry Buss and Magic Johnson. When he died in the year 2000 his estate transferred to the Daniels Fund, making it one of the largest foundations in the Rocky Mountain West. The Fund provides grants and scholarship guided by Bill Daniels mission of making life better ... one person at a time.
