I know what happened! When you first start, an animal asks you whats your birthday. When you started this character, you probably didnt talk to enough animals. :P
OR you may have reset after telling the animal the birthday...

@badgerhos Nope, I told the animal my birthday. How would Rover know that today was the birthday if I hadn't set it? ;)

I never time travel on ACCF. It's just that I hardly ever use this character. On my main character (which I play almost daily), I got a proper birthday with the cake and animal letters.
