Some impacts of the major weather system include:
- Closure of Victoria's seaport of Portland for the first time in ten years due to eight-metre swells.
- $150 million dollars in damage due to significant beach erosion along Victoria's coast.
- Waves washing against the historical buildings of Port Arthur in Tasmania.
