Good work to try catch an idea of capoeira. Of course this scrape just a surface. Still have to say Dina had quite one-sided perspective on this.
I would not call this one as documentary but a presentation of capoeira.
To HailelSela: Pretty strong word that master. And she didn't disguise as she wore yellow "corda".

she's a master of disguise already. she pretends to know nothing about it, but already has a good technique as well as the ability to play berimbau for a longer time (she's even singing while playing)...

it seems non aggressive, but it grown in the dangerous streets of Salvador da Bahia, it was used by street gangs as a lethal weapon. Try to find "Capoeira: a brazilian art form" by BIra Almeida (mestre Acordeon) or "The little capoeira book" by Nestor Capoeira. They were published all over the world, you should find them in every bigger online bookstore
