If I see one workout that people do incorrectly the most, it's bicep curls. In this short video, I am going to show you how to do them properly with dumbbells.

There are many different bicep exercises that you can do with dumbbells, so I will also be showing you some of these exercises.

On the flip side, I will also show you how NOT to do bicep curls.

  • Hey man, do you have short biceps or long biceps? I can't tell in your vid

  • @KyleHockeyPro My arms are pretty lanky, brother. So I would say that I have long biceps, but I have never heard of the term, "short" or "long" biceps.

  • Hmm... I used to be a weightlifter when I was in high school three years ago & did not know that about spreading your legs to get a center of gravity, but it makes sense. I thought hammer curls were with your thumbs facing you the whole time though? Ahh, this video makes me reminisce of the weightlifting days..haha

  • @jpoodle Hey brother. Thanks for the comment. From what my coach taught me in high school, having one foot in front of the other does help with balance. As for hammer curls, in P90X, that's what they call them. Lol. I know most of what I do because of the P90X program.

  • nice tutorial!

    do you do pull-ups?

  • @softtriger Yeah brother. I do P90X, so pull ups are included in the program. I'll probably make a video next week.

  • @professionalblogger short biceps mean the bicep doesn't meet with the forearm but has a massive peak..and Long biceps mean the meet the forearm and the peak of the bicep is not that large.

  • When I went to the gym with my friends I would put my feet side by side like that all the time and sway back and forth , but I've never seen that foot placement before so I'm defintley going to try this tomorrow, thanks a lot man !

  • keep it up bud

  • @iamapoc I noticed this too, brother. When I watched the video, I noticed that my elbows do come forward. I'll have to watch this. But this is also why I like Isolation curls, because they keep you doing proper form.
