To create remixes of your favorite songs, add a song into your ACID Pro timeline. The Beatmapper wizard opens. Follow the steps of the wizard to calculate the songs tempo, and add that information to the song file. When you're done, combine it with loops, one-shots, and other Beatmapped files to create a new mix where everything plays at the project tempo.

  • @wasimguyanese go to track properties

clip properties, stretch and then beat mapper wizard.

    you're welcome ;D

  • i not too long ago learned how to beatmap properly but back when i didnt know, i really messed some songs up. is there anyway i can re-beatmap songs?

  • Beatmap is not supported in Sony Vegas. Only in acid pro. But the two programs work great togehter. I would suggest using acid pro for recording of music audio and midi files and exporting those to sony vegas pro. Sony vegas pro is perfect for recording audio though, but does not have the midi functions and quantize functions of acid pro.

  • I want to do video mix, and I don't know how to create a Beatmap in Vegas Pro 9. Can you please help me?

  • Ok I know most people using Acid are Djs and working with songs with steady tempos, but film composers should also give their input once in a while

    ;)

  • It must be hard to implement, but I would love to see a Beat Mapper that could work just by clicking in the timeline and putting marks for every bar in the song, maybe putting numbers on the marks for each beat. That way you could even Beat Map prog rock and/or Rubato songs...

    ;)

  • That was really quick. Too quick. Like I said in the SF10 comment you should also make in depth tutorials with some files we could upload and try along with the video and see and above all hear how it works in the real life. Beat Mapper works well with sequenced songs with tight timing and constant BPM. Forget about live tracks, and God forbid BPM changes, accelerandos and rallentandos.

  • That was amazing. Can you do a voice over for something for me?
