Rendertime over 145 hours for this sequence, 1920x1200 resolution, 728 frames.

Details:

Mesh Settings

Mesh-Type = RFRK Mesh (inside RealFlow)
Type = Sphere
PolySize = .01
Smooth = 30
Filter = no.
All other settings = unchanged (standard).

On Emitter (Mesh Settings):
Radius = 0.01

U need a high particle per volume count to make a mesh work like this. If u checkout my video in high quality, you will notice that the mesh surface is not perfectly smooth...looks like a pattern made of spheres. That is because there are not enough particles to have max. possible detail (small radius) while still maintaining a smooth and perfect surface. If I wanted my simulation mesh (5 000 000 Particles) to be so entirely smooth, i would have to use filters or the smooth setting, which wuld cost me a lot of detail. I think this was a good balance.

  • Bro, do you mean by radius on the emitter the settings in the display settings for size? Also, for the resolution what was it if I may ask?

  • @CmptrGmr

    No. Im talking bout radius in the mesh settings. If your emitter is "inserted" to the mesh, you should be able to see it parented to the mesh node and if you klick on that "copy" of the emitter you will see some settings. Like radius.

    good luck :)
