A little video from my ride down the Continental Divide

My friend Jay and I rode 3134 miles in 9 days on a KTM 990 Adventure and a BMW F800 GS. The video was taken with a GoPro, a Sony Nex 5, and Jay's point and shoot camera (it was scaled up to HD).

Dunlop 908 Rally Raids on the KTM. The front is pretty worn down at the beginning. I put a new one in Butte, MT on the way back. The BMW had a Kenda Big Block on it. It wore really fast, and was pretty bad in the sand in ID. He had a TKC 80 up front. Good tire. Wore nice and was a good all arounder. I don't like anything but knobbies on my bike though and besides price, see no reason to stray from the 908 on the back.

I'm using the bike bike setup from Highway Dirtbikes. Super solid setup. The kit comes with a replacement top clamp that the guards attach to. The mirrors fold in and out so you can tuck them out of harms way off road. Funny thing is, I've fallen over twice with them out and they just fold up anyway. Good stuff. Just google "Highway Dirtbikes" and you'll find it. Can't link on YT.
