Dolly-wood & American Idol Seven !

The Top Nine Performing, APRIl 1, 2008

Tonight was American Idol 7's first mentor week, and it was great to watch the famously talented Dolly Parton coaching the contenders ! The songs the choose were great, and some performers arranged their songs in their own unique fashion.

All in all it was a very good night, with almsot every contender doing at the very least decent work :)

As usual, some stood out from the final nine Idol hopefulls ! Here are the three that I thought were the best of the week during this country music inspired night on Idol !

Ok, that's fair enough, and i remember that song it was done well. I am currently routing for David Cook and, at that time, I was routing Brooke & Michael more so than any of the others.

I can't believe you didn't have Carly in your top 3. I am not a huge fan of her but that song blew me away. Even Dolly said that her voice is what that song was meant for. I do like Brooke more overall and I like David Cook more than anyone at the moment......but for me Carly had the best song of the night.
