This is a fantastic piece of handbell music that my church handbell choir played. I asked my dad to record this with his iPhone. I'm the short-haired blond girl at the far right ringing the huge bells.
The technique you see us doing with the bells at the beginning and end is called "singing" the bells. It's an idea taken from Tibet where they play bowls with different levels of water in them for different tones (a lot like the way you can rub your finger around the rim of a crystal glass).
@TheJosiechou I agree it is very slow; however, I don't see how it is disgusting. The audio quality isn't the best, but it still conveys the basic melody. Our audience loved it, and I got goosebumps while ringing. What about it is disgusting?
