  • But doesn't moving the camera towards the subject increase it in size as well? What about the parallax effect error as well?

  • @EyesOnSkies hi Sorry missed your question. Yes moving the camera towards will increase in size. Simply leave extra room for crop. Parallx effect ... hmmm never happened to me

  • Is focus stacking possible on earlier versions of photoshop?

  • @ttishbite cs4 has it, cs 3 had something like... file-> scripts> load into stack-> and then you can manually paint the mask.....

not sure if cs 2 had it.....

  • Good stuff! Spasibo!

  • Very helpful sir. :)

  • Леша, спасибо за видео. Отличный и очень ценный урок.

  • Funny, but really helpful! :)

  • Brilliant

  • In general using remote focusing with a proper fixed macro lens is superior to Manual focusing rails for a number of reasons: 1 - the perspective does not change 2 - no chance to bump/slightly move the camera 3- can be fully automated with software e.g Combine ZP (free) or Helicon Focus - some shots require 80-100 images, can you imagine doing that one little knob twiddle at a time?

Whilst the actual image size does change with remote lens focusing - the stacking software handles this easily

  • Thanks alot! This method it's much better than buy an expensive tilt-shift lens for fucusing the entire object.
