I must admit the flavor profile wasn't what I was expecting, I'm not really a maduro smoker and can count the number of them that I have smoked on one hand, but the cigar was quite pleasant. A slight pepper undertone was there continuously below other flavors such as chocolate, leather, and a high coffee note. It started with something I can't quite put my finger on, changed to the chocolatey coffee flavor for the middle third, then ended with a more peppery leather profile. Good cigar for sure.
I'll add my two cents as well, even though this is fairly old. Completely agree with the quality of the stick, it's surprising the price is as low as it is. Construction is about as perfect as one could ask for, it had a nice even burn throughout the smoke, never had to go for a touch up at all. The ash was nice and tight, though I lost it about half-way through due to a strong purge. The wrapper is a pleasing chocolate brown with a little bit of tooth, only two small veins were present.
