On "State of the Union," John King plays a clip of an interview with former McCain Presidential campaign advisor Steve Schmidt at an Atlantic magazine panel. King asked Schmidt what Sarah Palin's chances are for a possible 2012 run for President.

"My honest view is that she would not be a winning candidate for the Republican party in 2012, and in fact, were she to be the nominee, we could have a catastrophic election result."

Schmidt also tells King that he might be described in Palin's upcoming book as "anti-rogue."
