I also have the pre alpha on the same netbook, 1.8ghz 2gb ram win 7 Ultimate and Ubuntu 11.04dual boot ..meego runs from the sd card slot ,but the ability to recognise usb devices is not enabled.
Hopefully we will see anoter release for final fixing the bugs.you cannot enter static i.p with this build,but if you have a smartphone you can connect over bluetooth and use it's internet connection.
