@philbusa hey man sorry i didn't get back to you sooner but i'm very busy working....not a tree hugger but a steel tower hugger...i build towers...and i can't wait to start stacking some windmills and make your electric bill come down...i've already built some temporary wind meter towers in WV and could see the wind farm a few ridges away...beautiful compared to MTR!
only thing i see RETARDED on here is this yuppie tree hugger constantly bitching about coal. be true to yourselves and your cause.1 shut off what causes this disaster,no law forceing you to have electric.should have had your meeting outside natural sunlight,no mics, that uses electric also. sell your cars ride a bike,or walk,or ride the jackass with the guitar in this video to and fro. truth is all you whiners are still using coal from mtr,and you dont have to.stand up for your cause.unhook it.
hey AHANGER do us all a favor and get AJOB,and ALIFE,and what you and your treehuggers really need is AHUGEELECTRICBILL.get out of fairy land.coal is not going without a fight. some of us depend and like the useable land it makes.
Hey its my mountain too. Its not being destroyed its being relocated and used for Electricity. I drive a coal truck and live around mines. When these guys get finished with the product they replace the mountains with rolling hills and streams and wildlife has a new better place to live. In 10 years time you cant tell it was ever mined. Come see for yourself. Its still beautiful.
Anyone who actually thinks these coal companies care about this region are crazy. Doesnt anyone remember the broad form deeds act? Coal companies bought up crazy amounts of land in the coal fields, and didnt pay taxes on them for nearly 100 years. How is that helping this region.
MTR is just another way to get us out of this land. It's cheap, quick, and makes for a big profit, all while polluting this region, and destroying one of the most bio-diverse regions in the world
why hasn't anyone commented here in the past 2 months...don't let the other guys get the last word...it makes them feel better about destroying YOUR mountains!
Anyone who says this is false or biased propaganda is either hired by the mining corporations or extaordinarily ignorant. There is no other option.
The people who write in favor of something like this are the same people who bought into the Republican lie that big business really cares about struggling middle America.
