Right now I have no idea. Maybe back then when I was more into imperishable night I knew....
But i just went and timed the first blast of those 2 spells. Hard version lasts about 5.5 seconds,and Lunatic only 5 seconds.

Actually... On lunatic the cannon has a shorter duration by about half a second. Makes it easier?... It took more tries to get Hard than Lunatic for me
