I dont think getting paid takes away anything from them. Its like youre saying that if I pay you to dance youre not dancing anymore cause i paid you. This IS still street entertainment even if they got paid. Whats with the bad blood? lol

Does anyone recall the guy who posted a clip of him dancing to a new song every day for year... Usually they were rock or reggae songs and they were always in a different location like a library or a park... Haven't seen any of his stuff for a while and was wondering if he pulled them...

That's cuz the Wisma stunt endured a false start, unlike the day before at Raffles Place. The speakers broke down soon after the beginning, alerting the bystanders & causing them to wait around for the re-start.

it's a good way to garner publicity but not under the name of 'flash mob'. they just completely distort the real meaning of flash mob and what it is about. flash mobs are more about breaking away from daily lifestyles and doing something out of ordinary without getting PAID. maybe htc should stop using 'flash mob' and naming such videos as 'flash mob'. it makes singapore a laughing joke from an australian's point of view. you mean you guys don't know what flash mobs are really about?

Generally flash mob means a sudden and planned gathering of many people at a particular place that has been arranged earlier on an Internet website. All of the people do or say something that has also been planned earlier and then separate and leave quickly in different directions.

This is from longman dictionary. I guess everyone is just reading off from WIKI which provides a good source of info, but is not exactly reliable.
