Measurement While Drilling (MWD) tool extraction - the tool stopped working so we went down the pipe with the wireline to snatch it up without tripping pipe. This saved a lot of time and $$.

  • @ar15beowulf lol i make muleshoes haha at work

  • JUNK IRON !! IS WHAT IT IS !! :-)

  • @minakazem822 Sorry to bust your bubble, but this is a tensor MWD tool. Some tools are collar-mounted and some are wireline retrievable. This tool sits in a UBHO sub (or a muleshoe if you wanna call it that). The pulser is keyed to fit in it. You have a poppit on the pulser and an orifice in the UBHO to get the correct pressure drop across the tool. But, you probably already knew that..

  • It's a MWD tool. It is set up with two batteries, electronics, gama, and pulser which makes it around 28 feet long.

  • this is not MWD tool...it is just ESS tool (Multi-Shot) Survey tool.....and this is not wire line it is just overshot tool :)

  • Is it MWD or Wireline??? ...because i see the tool is too long to be MWD, only wireline use lines to pickup the tools.

  • wireline sux
