  • I still have goosebumps after hearing this. I heard it for the first time 45 years ago in a party and that was a LP witch had each song of Beatles with their original performance and then with George Martin's performance. It was out of this world. For 45 years I have been looking for this performance. I bought CDs hoping to find this at no avail. Thanks for posting it.

  • beautiful, I've been looking for this song forever. and the slideshow is amazing too!

  • @dbeatlefreak Just my luck. Guess I need to do more research before I list some of the 45s I have been selling to get an idea of worth before selling to cheaply. Live and learn, indeed.

  • @lordgaga2009 Thanks for the info! I did not realize this had ever been released as a single. I just looked it up on Amazon, and there is one copy for sale for $35.00. Oh well, we live and learn!

  • @dbeatlefreak um. I had the vinyl 45RPM recording with Ringo's Theme on the flip which was also released by United Artists Records in 1964. I sold it on Amazon for a measily $8.95. I never knew it was so beautiful. I should have copied it on CD.

  • This only appeared on A Hard Day's Night soundtrack LP (vinyl) released by United Artists records in 1964. That LP was re-issued by Capitol Records in the mid 80's, but when The Beatles catalog was standardized worldwide in 1987 and released on CD, the British version of the LP was issued and not the UA version.

  • amazing............................

  • @Faramarzfara Vinyl is the way.

  • should have called it 'And I Love Her, and Her, and Her'

  • This Instrumental haunted ne for decades..........Sooooooooo moving is it's yearning for Love.

  • This is a beautiful version but I'd like to hear "All Quiet On The Mercy Front", with a guitar solo full of Hank Marvin's style.

  • @EasyAce: On that note, friend, it had to be the hand of Providence that prevented them from being accepted by the Decca producer.... he literally would have ended them after 2-3 years.
