Sherri Dupree is not conventional! Her songs are very indie, and nothing like Emily Haines. Her music is wonderful in it's own way, and they are BOTH lucky to have each other.

All of you idiots saying Max writes music according to the music industries demands, your stupid. For one, he is on the label J RECORDS, which is an independent label where people write their own music. And Max is about keeping true to yourself and writing what you want and feel.

I don't even know what to say to this. Are you for real? This post is 6 months old but I'm compelled to respond to it because Max is one of the few musicians I've discovered in a long time with more than a shred of honesty in his music.

I don't know who Sherri Dupree is, but after a few minutes on youtube, she comes off as another generic Emily Haines type poser, just what you're accusing Max of being. I'm actually surprised he's wasting HIS time on HER, but I guess that's one of his weaknesses

well, you definitely have no idea what you're talking about. You honestly believe that he's creating music that conforms to the music industry's demands? His songs are more original and not as generic as people like britney spears. And dude, you have to realize that all the music industry demands is non-controversial, cash cows. In case you haven't noticed, almost all of his songs are controversial in some way. I mean look at Died a Jew.
