In this second edition of the Chess Tournament "Festival de las Calaveras" women showed again that there is not such thing as week sex and with a super team full of talent and chess strength they won the event.
We had the pressence of the General Director of the Sport Institute Mr. Alfredo Morales Shaadi; Secretary of Management and Innovation Mr. Florentino Reyes Berlie and Tourism Secretary Mr. Fernando Pol Pérez.
To round off this event an emotive closing ceremony took place, starting with the presentation of the Chess Masters, the international women competitiors: Grand Master Antoaneta Stefanova from Bulgaria, Woman Grand Master Marie Sebag from France, Woman Grand Master Elisabeth Paethz from Germany and the Woman Grand Master Shen Yang from China.
The gentlemen were the best Mexican chess players: Grand Master Jose Gonzalez Garcia, International Master Alfonso Almeida Saenz, FIDE Master Guillermo Dominguez Aguilar and FIDE Master Uriel Capo Vidal.
