  • @Ma08C bro ive felt like that since back then, this album is genius, its miles above reasonable doubt, i used to listen to all the classic albums back to to back in my walkman and anytime i put on it was written i knew the shit had a genius to it that nothing else could come close to, lyrically the shit is a masterpiece, visually its mind blowing, dude could tell a story better than any movie director in this century lol, pure brilliance

  • So I'm not the only one that thinks this album was better than illmatic.. So grimey and greedy.. I have no words to describe the lyrical dominance this guy has over any other rapper ever.. Style, flow, criminal slang, story tellin.. It has everything. I'm starting to believe this to be the greatest hiphop album of alltime.. And it took 16yrs of listening and analyzin

  • @theFRACTALREIGN my favorite is (take it in blood)

  • This album is such a classic record. Never gets old.

  • best rapper of all time, im so ready for his new album.

  • Love NAS

  • "Hey Me No Worry Hashes Keep My Eyes Chinese Roll Two Phillies Together Make Blunt Siamese" This Guy Gotta Be One Of Best To Grace The MIC

  • @compaqmakk you re crazy lol listen to both albums and really study thier dynamics

  • IT WAS WRITTEN was underrated even when it came out. Many critics doubted Nas' sophomore effort because it lacked the selfless and visceral street intentions of ILLMATIC. However, IWW is far superior lyrically and beat-wise.

And although the concept was geared towards NY gangsta, Nas never over-played his role and mostly spoke about the harshness of street life.

Take a moment to listen to this Lyrical "Goodfellas" epic from start to finish.

    1. SUSPECT

    2. I GAVE YOU POWER

    3. LIVE NIGGA RAP
