  • woutch. I find their music simplistic, uninspired, trite, over-produced and banal. I was around when they came out and we used to call this kind of music "bubblegum" – sickly sweet and the enjoyment doesn't last long. If you believe this treacle to be enduring, it is you who are mad. You make a lot of assumptions, none of which have been accurate. I don't listen to angry young men and I am not working class. I find it telling that you seem to equate working class with being unintelligent.

  • @Kaalec As I said "all three". This music has indeed proved to be "enduring" after surviving over thirty-five years whilst true "bubblegum" has disappeared, and you're as clouded as your depiction of our ruling system if you think otherwise. The alternative (as seen in US) doesn't seem very appealing to me.

However, you do seem to be fairly intellectual in your response, if a little misguided about B+B compositions, so I conceded that I was incorrect in my assumpitions about you were wrong.

  • woutch. That's it? That's the best you've got? Kinda pathetic, but I wouldn't expect any more. Years of listening to Swedish crap music has softened your brain.

  • @Kaalec Define crap? I used to joke about thick working class people only being able to describe something as "brilliant" or "crap". There was nothing in between.

If you can't recognise that this melody and production, along with the vocal performances, are sheer genius you are either lying, deaf or mad. Or all three.

  • To uploader. You have no idea what I listen to, but I gurantee it isn't Swedish pablum.

  • @Kaalec: Well, it's your loss. "Blame Canada, they're not even a real country after all." Now THAT'S a great song!

  • Mind you, I shouldn't be surprised by your class prejudice, You libe in a country that still believes accidents of birth enable people to be automatically part of the ruling class, right up to your head of state. I understand that technically, your queen is also the queen of Canada, but I (among many other republicans) have never accepted her as such. Liz Windsor's not a bad sort, but her progeny and their past and current spouses truly are upper class twits best ignored.

  • @Kaalec Oh, I had no idea that you were such a critique of genius music.

Go back to your angry songs, sung by angry young men, that nobody will remember next week much less 34 years after release.

  • I had no idea so much work went into producing such absolute crap.

  • @woutch Oh well. All these removals on the ground of "copyright infringement" are truly taxing on ABBA fans. And they are getting more frequent. But I hope such inspections are only seasonal. Still, a big thank-you since this edited section is still a pleasure to watch because of its superior quality!
