@MegaVivian11 i grew up and studied in the philippines and I have an american accent and often mistaken for one....it all depends on the school you attend growing up. Also in our time all kids shows where in english hence we picked up the american accent even before going to school.

@makinawdandy6699 filipino born who speak onli filipino language without dialects or other native tongue dont have much accents compared to filipinos who are born in philippines that have province dialects besides of filipino and english knowledge . thos who had accent are filipino like imigrants in america you can hear them heavy accent even when they speak in filipino u cant notice how heavy it is their accent
