@ThePinkLei Also, I noticed that you capitalized CAUSES as if that removes Jesus condemnation of the maltreatment of children. There are Greek and Hebrew terms translated as "causes". "Skandalizo" is a Greek term used in Mat 5:29-32 invoking personal discipline not self mutilation. The same word is used in Matthew 18:6 and is also translated as "offends". Offend means to violate or transgress. Hence, Jesus spoke out against violating children.
