  • hey do u just set traktor output routing to external mixer

then run the soundcard outputs into mixer inputs

or r u using it as midi?

  • yes, i route to external mixer, no way to use this mixer as midi...

  • 2 outputs in mixer or 2 outputs in soundcard useing?

  • 2 soundcard outputs, to plug each one in each of the 2 channels inputs .

  • how do you connect djm400 and the pc?

  • Using two outputs and a software called ansio4all so I can config all together in traktor 3...

  • Can you explain how exactly you have hooked up your mixer to the computer please?

  • i just got mine and is prety cool awson

  • line

  • haha yea vinyl looks cool even tho i hav never used it

hey im just curious wat do u have ur mixer rca inputs set to phono or line?

  • thanks man... but I already got it working with my Numark DXM06, the setup is exactly the same as you mentioned but not usb but firewire... in the future I hope to get some Technique decks and get away from all this digital mixing though.

  • yea all u hav to do is plug ur presonus firebox into the computer with a usb cable

now plug 1 set of cables between the mixer chanel 1 line in and your firebox audio out 1-2

then plug mixer chanel 2 line in into ur firebox audio out 3-4

now open traktor go into settings > audio setup > soundcard select your presonus firebox

now go to output routing and select external mixer

for channel 1 select outputs 1 and 2

and for channel 2 select outputs 3 and 4

plug your speakers into mixer main out

  • Song title?

  • that's tight man... this is exactly what I want to do until I save enough money for some CDJs or Technics... do you think that you can do this with a PreSonus Firebox (I'm asking because you wrote that 2 soundcard outputs are needed and I don't know exactly what outputs work).. please let me know if you have any idea.
