  • Very nice lesson thnx I lot.... I never realised how much scales were important in guitar learning... thanks a lot

  • Most people know that they are supposed to learn them, but don't know why. I hope this bridges a gap.

  • Rob

Amazing stuff. One little thing. The titles truncated and it's hard to see which lesson is which--the A, B, or C practice companion. And somehow, I missed the melody lesson in C completely. If you've got a website, a list might be helpful.

But this tiny quibble aside, keep up the amazing work. I started yesterday afternoon and despite my borderline amusia, I was able to transpose Twinkle Twinkle even before seeing this lesson.

And I love your playing, too. Inspirational.

  • All you have to do is follow the links. Above it says, "This is a video response to LESSON 2, G MAJOR SCALE BMG PRACTICE COMPANION C.

Just keep clicking on those right back to the beginning.

  • Late comment, but you can also let the mouse hang over the lesson button and the full name will appear, that way you can see which companion it is.

  • Thanks, I didn't see this before.

  • Excellent

  • Wow. I must say, loving the double scale playing. When do we start covering the jazzy-playing you were doing at the end of the lesson?

    It was really cool :).

Thank you. An sorry to disturb you :D.

  • Yes sir, that's me. Now I can understand why - I tell ya, I'm impressed.

  • Thank you so much for these lessons. They really help me a lot. They give me some solid theory to hang my practical knowledge on and everything suddenly becomes crystal clear. Keep them coming :)
