  • I know that the ignition point isn't 1000°C. I ment that the brener's flame reaches about 1000°C so it was a little strange that the green star didn't ignite instantly.

  • Really nothing! The green star can easily ignite, but the lighter crap :)

    Potassium-chlorate / sugar mixture ignites 180C degrees. The other component is to increase the ignition limit. Instance, the 270C is also flammable. Not to be 1000C degrees!

  • Oh, OK, thanks! The green star seemed a little more hard to ignite with the brener (that has about 1000°C) so I was thinking...

  • Do not need it! Potassium chlorate based stars, easy to ignite.

  • Nice. Do they need prime?
