Jesus was tempted and God cannot be tempted I agree. Though this is a complicated issue. God made Himself into a man. He was fully a man and He was fully God. This is why 1 Timothy 3:16 says "... great is the mystery of Godliness...".

Many times throughout the New Testament people worship Jesus and He does not stop them. Matthew 14:33, Luke 24:52, Matthew 28:16-17, etc. In John 8:58 Jesus says "Before Abraham was, I AM." This is referring to when God spoke to Moses out of the burning bush in Exodus 3:14 saying "I AM who I AM." John 10:30 Jesus says "I and the Father are one." Need more?

Every "book" can be "interpretted" as evil if not understood. And there is a reason it says, "Seek, and you shall find," not "Read, and you shall know." I find it funny that there are people like you who think God wrote a book and then stopped talking.

You accept some things the bible says and deny the other things...

I gave you examples of this... and can give you many more.

What is the truth is the bible is a book full of stories about a god that any sane person would find morally evil.

Look at the Muslim book ... the prophet Muhammad wife was 9 years old... he was a child molester... the christian bible speaks of god commanding you to rape the wives and children of sinners...

Where is this truth you speak of?

And because it is a battle between "you and yourself(mind.)" This is why Jesus said, "don't point out the speck in your neighbors eye when you have a LOG in your own, first remove the LOG from your own eye, and then remove the speck from your neighbors." If you are not "pure(holy)(perfect)(know truth)" and you claim to know, you are just the blind leading the blind.

And ExamineChristianity, I will help you out a little more. It isn't about "me vs you." Or "christianity vs muslims." It is about "you vs satan." You vs yourself." It is a battle between you and evil. By judging others you just "think you know all or are God." God does the judging. Don't build an Ego.

So ExamineChristianity, are you saying you are holier than thou? Let me explain something here, you either are "holy" or you aren't, you can't be "holier" than anybody, except those that are unholy, we are all equal in God's eyes. Being holy would be to realize truth and live from it. Spirit and truth. Fulfillment. Satisfied, Grace. Peace that passeth all understanding.

Different things such as "being still" for long periods of time.

Be still and know that it is God. This is my understanding of all of this, I could be wrong, but then again, so could everybody. Me, I have a greater understanding of what is truly real from following the teachings, I am comfortable with "not knowing" and that is what makes me "whole."
