wow, its changed alot, i just got back from there over Christmas break, George added on a 6 meter balcony overlooking the docks. Its a purely beautiful place, im glad that our house is so nearby it. Too bad about the Algae problem they've been having in Atitlan recently. Luckily near Casa Del Mundo is the one spot on the side of the lake that the evening winds don't blow it in their direction =D. i miss pana

$25-$60 per night isn't that expensive if you consider the location and the upkeep of the place. Sure there are many places that are cheaper in the many senses of the word, but for what you get, I am satisfied.

i´ve been to jaibalito but i didn't stay at casa del mundo. it is really nice but quiet expansive, there are much cheaper ones around, direktly in jaibalito,
it's your choice
