Hi guys. This is my video explaining how to create a Master Sword from the Legend of Zelda. This is great for cosplays and if you put a little effort and time into it, it could become a real work of art. The design is a merger of styles from Wind Waker and Ocarina of Time. However, as you may want to create a different style, you can modify some of the requirements to suit the style you want. It isn't 'set in stone' so to speak. Anyways hope you enjoy it. imade mine like this: i cut out 2 sheets of cardbord rong shape though i put the dowel or garden cane between them and then taped them with the dowel in in them andi left space outside the bottem and made a hilt taped it to the dowel and taped the remaning dowel and then taped it blu and the blade was duck tape and then masked and painted

Is it hard to make??? I am gonna be Link for Fastelavn (something they have in my coutry), and i only need his sword, shield and hat.

how thick should the garden cane or dowel rod or watever be?

@luigi112344 couple of centimetres? thick enough to fit through the sword and keep it ridgid, but thin enough so that it dosen't cause a bulge in the sword.

Hello! I am making a Link costume for Halloween for my 5 yr old. Ive made the Twilight Princess shield out of foamboard but still need directions for the sword. Is there any way you can email me directions that you maybe already have printed up? I cannot seem to print out your demo. @sherryvandehey Hi, I don't have the directions typed, you'd just have to write them down from the video. What seems to be the problem? Can't you watch the video?

@Skater4life6780 Haha, well two of them are the plastic caps found on washing machine liquid bottles, and the bottom right one is part of an egg box. You could use either or find something similar that's suitable.
