"Killing All The Flies" is a short film that captures all the magic of Hollywood, from behind the scenes. It is a melancholy short which depicts that which is created, from that which is reality. The music (and title) for the short is by Mogwai - the Scottish band, from Glasgow - whose album "Happy Music For Happy People" came to mind while filming this alternate reality. The track "Killing All The Flies" on the album fits the film perfectly, and the film is a direct result of the music.

  • this is really funny because all you had to do was ride the tram ride at universal studios....

i mean it was well done

but that just kinda made me laugh.

  • the subject is great, very well thought, very desolate.. this song - i just love it (and that's how i found your video).

i do like most, however, those still shots you have done at the end, like at the time of the "flood", you just stand there and witness. i like that a lot.

in general it's very good.. very ghost-like, a view of an otherwise familiar reality, just that it's not, because it's not inhabitted by humans. (a bit like edward hopper's paitings)

    :)

  • very very good video, i really like it. great music choice, mogwai are an amazing band. props

  • Woah, looks like ghost town footage.
