Biodiesel SafTest Analyzer - Part 3 - Testing Samples For Total Glycerin

In this video, samples of Biodiesel are tested for the Total Glycerin content using the MP Biomedicals Biodiesel SafTest Analyzer System.

Testing Biodiesel samples is extremely easy:
1) Create a 1 to 10 dilution sample of Biodiesel
2) Add the Total Glycerin Reagent Enzymes
3) Heat the sample in the heat block
4) Place the sample in the analyzer
5) Read the results

The ASTM Standard for Biodiesel allows for up to 0.24% Total Glycerin. In the example shown, one sample is above the limit and the other is within the limit.
