One of my favourite songs, by Kent, from Sweden.
It's live on Popsmart, Finnish television

SOCKER (SUGAR)

Does it matter anymore?
I cannot fight,
it's beyond my control
You left me all alone
and of course I got scared
my last spark of hope
was to be seen, to be noticed
and I forgot to breathe
because sex, music and violence
were the most beautiful things that happened to me
Later my soul was sold
to be seen without being seen
looks simple from a distance
but I live on impulse now
through remote control
But I always said no...

But no one, no one, no one, no one hears...
no one, no one, no one, no one hears...
no one, no one, no one, no one hears...
no one, no one, no one, no one hears...

  • In a world of idiots

    he's standing first in line

    He tells on camera

    how he changed his gender

    or something completeley different

    which also is private

of all those he had loved

and those he did not care about [*]

    But he always said no...

  • hi, thank you for the translation!

you are Norwegian or am i wrong?

    tack tack...

  • I love Kent <3

  • så jävla bra

  • Thanks for the translation! My swedish is not good, but I love this song. Kent rules!

  • no "läppar" means sipping

also its not "and those he did not care about" its "and those he only blew" :)

  • "Later my soul was sold" i would like to change it so "since my soul was sold"

  • That's right, but I am still unsure about some Swedish words and expressions, like "lappjer" which I believe is "tapping".
