Serbia - the Land of Lilacs (May, 2007)
- In honor to Helen of D`Anjou, the French princess and Serbian queen, the Ecological Center Return River`s Beauty has planted 100 lilacs in Lilac Valley, near Gradac monastery. In this way, the project Serbia the land of lilacs has started, by the idea of Vesna de Vinca.
With the renovation of the Lilac valley, we have renewed history and renovated the bank of Ibar river,the same as the unique gesture of love and respect towards a woman.

The participants of this great occasion were:

From abroad: HRH Charles Philip of Orleans - the Duke of Anjou - the successor of the French crown, HE Count Philippe Piccapietra - the Big Chancellor of the Humanitarian Order of Saint Lazarus, professor from Sorbonne University - Nigel Atkins.

From the local area: HRH Alexander Pavlov Karadjordjevich, Vesna de Vinca - the honorable president of Eco. Center Return River`s Beauty,Count George Zverzhanovski, dr Ljubisa Jovasevic - lider of Raska county, Agens hospital Mataruska Banja, MENSA Serbia, SOS Village (children without parents), representatives of the Raska, Kraljevo and Novi Pazar Municipalites, Mission Sveta Anastasija (Saint Anastasia), National Park Kopaonik, BITEF Theatre and Slavica Hinic, Rotary Club, Jovan Vasiljevic and Hilandarci Brothers, French Embassy (Benoa Snaider ),Ivo Andric Academy, Serbian Red Cross, Eco farm Usce, Public Water Management Company Srbijavode (Milos Batalo), State Enterprise for Forest Management Srbijasume Raska Lumber Camp, Father Petar Ulemek and Djurdjevi stupovi Monastery, Gradac Monastery, Gorani of Indjia (Members of the Nature Conservation Club Indjia), Dusan Milovic, gallery Kosanin and many other representatives of cultural, political and public institutions, as same as the representatives of national and local medias (press and TV- RTS, TV pink, TV Super, Vecernje Novosti etc.).

The project was supported by: The Ministry of Environmental protection RS, Ministry of Defence RS, MENSA Serbia (Uros Petrovic, Ranko Rajovic), New Belgrade Municipality
JKP " Zelenilo Beograd" (Belgrade Greenery), Secretariat for Environmental Protection Belgrade, Secretariat for Economy Belgrade, Public Water Managment Company " Srbijavode", state Enterprise for Forest Management " SRBIJAŠUME", Srdjan Stanisic - "Zenit" magazine and the Office of HRH Prince Aleksandar Karadjordjevic, Natasa Markovic editor and publisher, design studio Request, printing house Grafo-NIN.

- The first lilac, in honor of Helen D`Anjou, was planted by prince Philip of Orleans, and the last by Vesna de Vinca, the author of project.
