September 23rd, 2002... It was a particularly beautiful and sultry evening--and, high atop Manhattan, the romance of the legendary Rainbow Room was in all its glory--a truly perfect match for the magnificent voice and presence of Jane Monheit.
She is accompanied by a 27-piece orchestra conducted by Alan Broadbent, as well as a stellar smaller ensemble of acclaimed musicians, including Ron Carter, Kenny Washington, and Rene Toledo. The brilliant young singer performs timeless jazz standards, along with pop and Brazilian favorites, in a truly magical setting. And on this enchanting night high above New York City, it's very clear that the sky is the limit for the stunning voice and artistry of Jane Monheit.

There used to be a video of her singing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" at a White House Christmas Concert for George W. Bush. It is one of the most beautiful renditions I have ever heard, and I used to listen from time to time throughout the year. It has been pulled from youtube, and I have no idea why. I can't find it anywhere. Is it available anywhere? I'd appreciate any help. The Jane Monheit page has friendlock, and I can't ask there.

tonight i will lip gloss my huge lips and im gonna sing barbra songs - my psychiatrist told me i should stop pretending im barbra but i just cant! besides, my daddy paid all this money for this show he actually paid everyone to come and watch me so i really need my lip gloss on cause daddy will punish me again!!
