21 - Piano, for the soul

Two years ago I was asked if I would upload a video showing my hands playing the piano .... I agreed.

So not being one to disappoint, but lacking priority skills, here we have it.

This is a piece I have played around with for years, and it is so far gone from the original that I'm not even sure what it was supposed to sound like .... I play it for the soul.

I never received any formal music training, so for those of you who know your piano pedigree, you may get a kick out of watching my left thumb slap the keys, as if I was playing bass guitar lol.

I think I've listened to this almost as often as you have now :-P It really is beautiful. I love when someone plays an instrument with their whole body... I see that here. So much emotion captured without saying a word. That's a special skill, one that I admire. This has helped a lot over the last few days, aided me in feeling some things I needed to stop avoiding and just feel. Thanks for sharing!

@achillesmoose I picked up piano quite late, compared to other instruments .... I would have started playing piano when I was about 17, so it's going on 8 or 9 years now .... wow, am I that old?! - scary lol
