The tune is in the key of D Mixolydian, so can be played on a G harmonica in 2nd or cross position, but using 6 hole blow as the root (although the melody really starts on 7 suck). Lots of sucking in the 2nd part makes it a bit tricky, but it's a great tune and very popular in sessions.

    I play vamping style, so the only real recommendation is for a harp with a smooth mouthpiece, like Lee Oskars or Hohner Special 20's. I really don't like playing on Hohner MS system harps as the metal reed plates stick out. Also plastic is better than wood for comfort.
