  • This video is very long, but I have to say I had read article after article from Dr. Mercola about Peak 8 and for some reason video finally clicked for me. 90% of this info is vital as well as interesting and informative. I say watch the whole thing or just have it playing and listen closely while you play Bejewled or something. It really is worth the time.

  • Firstly, I am thankful that Dr Mercola has appoved a couple of negative criticisms in the comment section. Secondly, this interview (although being unnecessarily long for such a simple workout concept) is helpful in that it provokes my curiousity as to how the increased growth hormones in professional sprinters have benefitted their physical appearance. I will do a search online to compare the build of pro sprinters to other athletes. Thanks.

  • I'm someone on my way to becoming EXTREMELY healthy, and yet I've had the least physical exercise out of anyone in the last 5 years of my life and it is this type of information and technique that actually inspires me to get going on with a fitness program, not any fitness program... PEAK8 all the way! Simple, adaptable to any activity but for me by far the best activity (cuz you can do it anywhere) is waist-high knee raises! Anyone else have a great recommendation as to FREE forms of PEAK8?!

  • @fitnessdr Nice to hear about your good shape and strength

byond making contribution of living one must bear in mind the philosophies that brought him where he is, shall not make this mistake again.

  • I learned, by experiment, that 8 reps. worked best for strength training when 25 years ago I deadlifted 800 pounds at 181 pounds of body weight which is the most lifted in the US in 25 years. The deadlift utilizes more muscles than any other resistance exercise making it the perfect high intensity exercise! Today, at 53 years of age, I remain one of the top deadlifters in the US.

  • to those who are willing to pay close attention, this information can pay big time fitness gains.

i intend to ease on in to this immediately from my aerobic (cycling) program.

from here i'll check out peak 8 demo 1 and 2.

    thanks for this excellent series.

  • Great interview!

  • I was very impressed with your effort in the sprint 8 vids DR Mercola.

could you do one on the elliptical?
