I dont understand how some people can live in some countries. I mean places where this thing haPPENS! I think sweden is the best country to live in. we dont have war and it will never be either. and we dont have that slummy places behind every corner where people sitting under wires with clothes hanging between the houses, with a bottom of alcohol or maybe a syringe in the arm. hIm glad its not like that here in sweden! and one thing,we do absolutely not have trashs on the street.

@CherryDee18 I agree. However, look what happened to Jennifer Bullock after she won the Best Actress Oscar (Oscar curse at work here?)...Her husband cheated on her and her life literally 'fell apart'...In a way, Gabby was lucky she didn't win the Best Actress Oscar and possibly suffer the 'Oscar curse'.

@TheMrHabeeb I've seen much bigger and fatter. Just go to any grocery or department store and you'll see at least one 'big fat' person of any race or ethnic group. Also the 'real' Precious in the novel 'Push' is far taller (6'4-6'7"), heavier (375-400 lbs.) and much-darker-complected (skin matching new black clothes in department stores) than Gabby Sidibe.

@EggZackLi 'Precious' is a heavily sanitized version of the novel 'Push'. It had to be sanitized to prevent it from getting an 'NC-17' or 'X' rating. The novel's account of rape, incest, illiteracy, abuse, teen pregnancy, obesity, HIV/AIDS, and violence is far more graphic than the movie's. Also the 'real' Precious is much taller and darker-complected than Gabby Sidibe.
